We have a significant Lost & Found collection near the main cafeteria. If your children can’t find a water bottle, article of clothing or lunch box - please have them stop by to see if their missing item is on the table in the main cafe. Unclaimed items will be removed during spring break. |

Since the start of the year, we have been working to improve our arrival systems, and ensuring our students are arriving on time to start the day. To expedite the morning drop off process, we have removed the cones for student drivers to pull directly into their spots. We have opened the first set of doors near the choir room to allow for an additional location for student entry, in addition to the door at the end near the West Gym. Please check out this video to show the updated morning arrival procedures
These changes have minimized the lines on Mansfield Road and allowed for a higher number of students to be on time each day. At this point, we have approximately 2% of students earning consequences for lateness, with 1% of those being a 3:30 detention and only 1% receiving additional consequences like a 5:30 detention or ISS. As a reminder, students must be in their homeroom by 7:20 when the bell rings. As always, please reach out to your students’ Assistant Principal with any questions. |

On Monday, March 17, the Board of Education approved the installation of a synthetic turf field on the stadium field, along with resurfacing the track. This project will address safety concerns, update the facility, and significantly increase the use of the stadium field. The turf field will be lined for multisport usage which will include football, field hockey, soccer (boys and girls use the same lines) and boys and girls lacrosse. We thank the coaches for their input to ensure the project benefits our programs. Construction will begin on June 20 and is expected to be substantially completed in early September. The West parking lot will close on June 20 to accommodate this construction project and will remain closed until school reopens in September. We will share alternate parking locations for events during the closure. Below is a rendering of the field and we will continue to provide you with updates as the project progresses. |

Spring is arriving in a few days! Which means it is a popular time to “spring clean”. This ritual is often good for our mental health as well as our living space! Even for teens, it can be a reset if they clean out and organize their room or workspace. Spring cleaning can offer a sense of control and empowerment, which can help reduce anxiety and depression. It may also allow us to feel a sense of accomplishment with the tasks we are able to complete. In order to avoid being overwhelmed, start with small tasks first. You might find that you are then motivated to tackle other tasks you have been putting off all winter. Here are some quick tips to share with your students/teen to help them benefit from some spring cleaning as well: Set realistic goals Don’t be afraid to ask for help Make it enjoyable-play music, listen to a podcast, invite a friend for company Take breaks-make sure to have good snacks handy to keep energy up Get outside-if you can’t do this, at least open some windows while you clean

Not sure if you ordered your student a yearbook this year? Here are three ways to check: Go to your email and search for ‘Jostens Order Confirmation’. Be sure the email/purchase date is from this school year (2024 - 2025). Go to www.jostens.com. Log in with the email you believe you used to purchase the yearbook. Click your name, then ‘Orders’ to see lifetime purchases for that account. Click ‘Receipt’ next to any purchase to verify that the order was for a yearbook and not an ad or other celebratory product. Again, please verify that the purchase date is from this school year (2024 – 2025). Click here to use the Jostens Order Lookup system. You will need to select our School and then enter your Student’s First Name, Last Name, and Grade. PLEASE NOTE: The system searches for exact matches. If you may have ordered under a child’s nickname, i.e. Ben instead of Benjamin, please try both names in the search fields.
Thank you so much for your support of our school and yearbook program. |
