Trooper Youth Week is a residential youth education program developed by the New Jersey State Police. This program presents simulated law enforcement programs for male and female students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of High School. The week's activities include lectures and presentations covering many facets of police work and criminal justice. Participants will be exposed to a disciplined quasi-military environment, including military drill in combination with structured fast moving programs of classroom activities, lectures, films, practical exercises and physical training, simulating the NJSP recruit training experience.

TCNJ will be hosting a BME Summer Camp this year, introducing participants to the diverse field of biomedical engineering through several hands-on and design activities that take place in the TCNJ STEM Building's state-of-the-art biomedical engineering laboratories and design facilities. Students that rank in the top 30% of their class and have an interest in engineering in medicine are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by April 12, 2024.
TCNJ will be hosting an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Wireless Communications Summer Camp this year. The camp will explore the realms of electrical and computer engineering and allow students to collaborate with esteemed faculty and students to delve into the development of intelligent handwriting and facial recognition hardware and software, as well as microstrip antennas - an integral component of contemporary wireless communication.
Students in the top 30% of their class who exhibit a passion for engineering are encouraged to apply. All applications and supplemental documents are due by April 5, 2024.

Then you will be interested in PREFACE 2024 - a pre-college summer engineering program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This program is for students interested in pursuing a career in engineering or technology who are part of groups that have been historically underrepresented or underserved in science, engineering, and other technological fields. PREFACE students are exposed to today’s global challenges and learn to use engineering design and manufacturing processes to develop possible solutions.
Rowan University's STEAM Academy is now taking applications! Rowan University's STEAM Academy educates and empowers high achieving students across disciplines in a summer program that helps sharpen scholastic interests for college and enables higher level students to earn transferable college credits. Rowan's STEAM Academy features instruction by top University faculty in Science, technology, engineering, & math (STEM) plus the arts to help students explore and identify areas of interest for success in college and careers. Attention class of 2026: We are looking for current 10th grade students who are interested in attending the 2024 HOBY State Leadership Seminar. This multi-day program is proven to provide students with an experience that cultivates personal growth and leadership development while building new connections and friendships throughout the state. This program is best served for students who enjoy volunteer work in their school and community. For summer 2024, students can choose from accelerated two-, three-, or six-week programs that offer talented high school students the opportunity to experience the Ivy League, pursue challenging academics, and stand out on college applications. The application is now open for Northeastern's Summer 2024 Accelerate Pre-College programs! Their residential Boston and Oakland campus programs are taught by Northeastern faculty, allowing students to gain extensive, hands-on, experiential education in subjects including engineering, health sciences, ethics and emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and more.
