This survey is voluntary, and no student will be required to participate. The results of the survey will be used by the students in the class to support their project. Clinical Corner
With all different tests around the corner as we near the end of the school year, I thought it would be helpful to talk about tolerating test stress. Let’s get straight to strategies to use. The one I liked the best is writing out what you are anxious about in regards to the test. Such as how you are feeling, why the test matters to you, and what your performance means to you, etc. Then you can throw it away. So get it out, and get it into the garbage and not have it all in your thoughts! This can really help you get calm before any test. If writing is not your thing, voice record and then delete!
Other strategies mentioned in the article “Taming Test Anxiety” are:
Deep breathing
Consciously relaxing by relaxing each muscle group
Decreasing distractions, especially like knowing where it helps most to sit
Engaging in positive self-talk
Not fixating on the clock

SENIOR PARENT SECTION
Senior Assassins
Please be aware that "Senior Assassins" is a non-sanctioned/non approved game where some seniors try to shoot each other with water guns or gel blasters. The intention is to knock everyone out until there is a winner. We have had issues in the past, students have been injured and Mansfield PD was involved.
This is not a school-sponsored activity. Please talk with your child about the perils of trespassing and potentially violating the property of others and the possibility of an injury or even much more, a tragedy.
While we encourage students not to engage in this activity, at no time is this permitted on school property or during a school sponsored event.
Graduation
At this time, barring no more emergency closure days, graduation is still scheduled for Friday, June 14th, 6:30 pm on the football field. There is no rain date and if necessary, graduation will be in the MS Gym with limited seating. More information to follow.
