SCHOOL CHOICE FOR AGRISCIENCE
School Choice Lottery: 12/11/2024

The Northern Burlington County Regional School District (NBCRSD) Board of Education is excited to share information about our Interdistrict Public School Choice Program (IPSC) for the 2025-2026 school year. Our premier Agriscience program, recognized nationally, offers students in grades 7-12 a unique opportunity. By including Northern’s Agriscience program in the IPSC, we aim to expand exposure to the Agriscience community and the modern science, business, and technology of farming.
Below are the mandatory requirements to apply to the NBCRSD Agriscience School Choice Program.
STEP ONE: The district will be providing a MANDATORY In-Person Orientation for interested students and their parents or guardians at the annual Open House, October 17, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the HS Media Center (160 Mansfield Road E, Columbus, NJ 08022).
If you applied previously to our program and were on the wait list, you must submit a new application. Applications do not roll over from year to year.
STEP TWO: Parent/Guardian must submit a Notice of Intent to Participate in the school choice program to the Superintendent of the district in which the student resides. THE DEADLINE FOR THIS IS NOVEMBER 25, 2024.
STEP THREE: Submit the completed application to the Northern Burlington County Regional School District's Office of the Superintendent, 160 Mansfield Road E, Columbus, NJ 08022. THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOVEMBER 25, 2024.
Participation Requirements:
All participants selected into the Agriscience Program are required to stay in the program for their duration at NBCRSD.
Students must participate fully in the district's Future Farmers of America (FFA) program and activities each semester.
It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to transport their student to and from NBCRSD every school day.
