During the week of March 3, 2025, Northern Burlington will begin the process of developing a new Mission Statement. By working with a company called ThoughtExchange, we will have students, staff, and the community respond to several questions. ThoughtExchange is a platform that allows participants to respond to questions and then allows others to rate the thoughts or ideas that have been posted. This will give us a true understanding of not only ideas but how others feel about these ideas. Later in the Spring, we will set up forums to discuss the results as well as the projected next steps in updating the Northern Burlington Mission Statement |

The PTSC is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair at the middle school next week (March 3-7). Students will visit during their science class. In addition, the students will be able to visit the book fair during their lunch period. If students wish to make a purchase, they should bring money to do so. The PTSC is looking for volunteers to help staff the book fair. If you are able to volunteer some time during the week of March 3, please visit this website: https://www.nburlingtonptsc.org/events |

This week, the middle school counselors met with all of the current seventh graders during their physical education classes on Wednesday to review course selection for next year. All of the students present entered their course requests in PowerSchool. Parents should be sure to review the requests with their child. If there are questions, please contact the counseling office. Any changes must be made by March 17. After that date, the system will be locked and counselors will begin to meet with students individually to go over the requests. For reference, the middle school program of studies can be found at this LINK. |
