GREYHOUND ATHLETICS

The middle school athletic experience is, for the most part, the first interscholastic experience for students, and the initial opportunity for a student to represent his or her school in interscholastic competition. While many students experience athletics through community youth sports programs, middle school athletics offer the first chance to play against a team from a neighboring school, offering a new and unique opportunity.

Individual sports will typically practice everyday after school and the students will take the 5:30 buses home, unless there is a game or the weather requires practice to be modified.

Please note that there is a window of approximately three weeks for a physical packet to be cleared administratively, from the nurses office and by the school medical inspector. Physical packets for sports teams that have already selected teams will not be accepted. Efforts should be made to contact the coaches prior to the start of their tryout dates. Please access the most updated physical packet to reference openings for practices and games specific to a sport.

The schedule of games can be found on our website by clicking on “Athletic Schedule” to the right of this message. This system is known as RSchool and is the preferred system of the Burlington County Scholastic League. It can be accessed directly at http://www.burlingtoncountyscholasticleague.org/g5-bin/client.cgi?G5genie=342&school_id=13. Please do not use www.highschoolsports.net as a tool for determining a schedule. Once on the RSchool schedule website, select the team for which you would like schedule information. Directions to away games are available by clicking on the name of the school twice. This program will allow you to download the schedule to your Outlook and you can subscribe to receive updates in the event of weather cancellations. Click on “Notify Me” at the top of the screen to receive text message alerts.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the main office of the middle school or the high school athletic office.
