Middle School Parent Message

Good Afternoon,

Here are the updates from the middle school:

Summer!: We have successfully concluded the 2022-2023 school year.  Thank you for entrusting your children with us.  For those in the class of 2027, best wishes as they begin high school.  As for the class of 2028, we look forward to welcoming them back next year for eighth grade.

Summer Assignments:  We strongly encourage students to remain sharp and continue to learn throughout the summer. There are many online resources to access as well as countless great books to read.  Here is NB’s website for middle school summer enrichment.

Summer assignments for students taking high school Advanced Placement & Honors courses can be accessed HERE. These assignments are not optional and are expected to be completed by the first week of school. Here is NB’s website for high school summer assignments and reading.

Leaving our School District?:  Please reach out to our registrars so that they can email you a withdrawal card to complete prior to registering in your new district. NJ school districts WILL NOT enroll a student without being withdrawn from their previous district.

Part of the withdrawal process will include returning the NB Chromebook and charger ($100-chromebook & $35-charger).

Current 7th & 8th grade, please email sbaker@nburlington.com

Current 9th -12th grade,  please email vsheppard@nburlington.com

*Please note, not completing this process will delay records being sent to your child’s new district.

2023-2024 Schedule:  Message from Dr. Andrew Zuckerman, Superintendent:  While much progress has been made over the past year in moving towards an extended learning schedule, it has been decided to continue with the current schedule for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. While this change was unanticipated, we feel it is best for the district at this time. We will use this additional time to help the staff prepare for the transition to the new schedule. We will also provide students and families with details about the schedule so everyone knows what to expect for the start of the 2024-2025 school year. I assure you that the programs and opportunities that have been planned for the 2023-2024 school year will remain intact

Northern TV:  Northern TV is a district wide broadcast station associated with Northern Burlington County Regional School District. Northern TV offers programming to inform, educate, and entertain our school community. Programs included new shows, sporting events, awards celebrations, music concerts and more. Northern TV programming is produced by and with students in the interest of fostering understanding of media and communications in a modern world. Please visit and consider subscribing to the Northern TV YouTube channel. For those interested in downloading special events, we will soon have the “Northern TV Vault” on the Northern TV webpage.
